Company History

Founded in 2008, Northclean Ltd is the result of a merger of two local cleaning firms, Associated Cleaners and Elite Cleaning, both of which had been operating in the Whangarei region for well over 20 years.

Today Northclean Ltd is operating as a family owned, Whangarei based, commercial cleaning company that provides quality cleaning services to commercial premises including corporate clients, educational facilities, local accounting and legal firms, and a variety of other local businesses.

Here at Northclean Ltd it is our imperative to build personal yet professional relationships with our clients, offering a high quality service that is personable and boasts a quick turn-around time on any complaints or requests our clients may have.

Rather than having to waste precious time lodging complaints that move slowly up the management chain of large, impersonal franchise cleaning firms, clients of Northclean can expect a prompt resolution to any issues or requests they may have regarding our service, and can expect to deal directly with management.

Because of Northclean's delivery of high quality services and our personable client relationships we often retain our clients on a long-term basis. Contracts we have held for over 10 years include - Northland Pathology Laboratory, UoA: Tai Tokerau campus, Honda Cars, Housing New Zealand, Career Services, North Port, Whangarei Department of Conservation office, and more.

Personnel

At Northclean we believe that one of our greatest resources is our staff.

Accordingly we pay above award wages and keep a close relationship between all staff and regularly work alongside our employees, believing that our investment in staff will show in the quality of our service.

We prefer to employ people who are either known to us or recommended to us by a reliable source. We require staff to be reliable and honest and are able to meet the standards we set.

Staff are aware that there is a great deal of responsibility required of them and understand that there is a high degree of trust between us and our clients regarding client security and confidentiality. Hence all staff are subject to a ministry of justice check and must sign a confidentiality agreement.
